Punjab Institute of Nuclear Medicines (PINUM)


Functions

Punjab Institute of Nuclear Medicine (PINUM) is a nuclear medicine institute attached with a teaching hospital and a medical college. It provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to the population of almost 16 million residing in Faisalabad and its surroundings. PINUM became functional in 1996. More than 40,000 patients visit the institute every year and the referral is increasing day by day. 

In addition to Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, a wide range of other services are also being provided such as Radiology, Mammography,  Echocardiography, Color Doppler, Ultrasonography, Radioimmunoassay for hormones & Tumor Markers and Clinical Laboratory Tests. 

Working Hours are from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Saturday and on Friday from 8.00 AM to 12.00 noon. This institute is also involved in various academic and research activities. It is located adjacent to Allied Hospital and Punjab Medical College.
