PINUM collaborates with a number of institutes in academic and research fields. These include Punjab Medical College, Allied hospital, DHQ Hospital, Pakistan Institute of Engineering & Applied Sciences (PIEAS) Islamabad, Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Science (PINSTECH), Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore, GC University Faisalabad Agricultural University, Faisalabad. PINUM is also actively involved in research activities in collaboration with International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA).
PINUM provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate training in a number of disciplines. An adequate library along with the availability of computers and internet facility ensures good research and academic atmosphere. Students, doctors and scientists are welcomed to seek assistance and collaboration in their research and for nuclear medicine orientation.
Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology has been started in collaboration with College of Paramedics, Faisalabad. It will provide trained technical staff in nuclear medical centers.
