Due
to its simplicity and low cost, vibration analysis is highly recommended
for use in industry for detection and diagnosis of common faults in
machinery, e.g. unbalance, worn gears, misalignment, defective bearing,
mechanical looseness, bent shaft, eccentric journal bearing, etc.
Technical services are available on fault detection in rotating and
reciprocating machines, performance evaluation of aircraft structure and
engine, flutter vibration monitoring at different flight conditions,
etc., bearing condition and performance of suspension track gear for
railways, vibration monitoring of ship hull, leak detection and
determination of burner condition in boilers, gear box monitoring and
condition monitoring of compressors.
