and quantities of radioisotopes produced vary with the application, e.g. for

The
radioisotopes produced at PINSTECH include 32P, 51Cr,
99Tc-m, 131I and
198AU. The PAEC medical centres are manly using these. The diagnostic kits are
produced for the visualization of different body organs. The parts of the body
scanned are heart, kidneys, brain, bones, liver, renal organs and red cells. Ten
types of kits, like DTPA, MDP, DMSA, DISIDA, MIBI, Pyrophosphate, Phytic Acid,
etc., are being produced.

pressure liquid chromatography under solvent gradient system with on-line
ultraviolet/visible and radiometric detector are used for the purity of various
ligands, radioactive products and Tc-kits.
