development of mineral resources, age determination of the ore body and its
surroundings is necessary. Age of certain minerals and rocks can be determined
using a fairly accurate technique based on fission track dating. Services for
radiocarbon dating of geological and archaeological samples, and petrographic
analysis of rock samples using advanced research microscopes are also available.
