World Nuclear Association

PAEC is a member of the newly established World Nuclear Association (WNA), London, U.K. This organization is a revamped version of the Uranium Institute. It has the slogan, "Energy for Sustainable Development".

WNA is primiraly a platform that supports nuclear energy and hold meetings and conferences of manufacturers and operators of nuclear equipment covering the whole spectrum of exploration, mining, fuel fabrications, power plants and waste management.

The Director General of the WNA is Mr. John Ritch, and the Chairman is Mrs. Agneta Rising. The WNA's honorary Chairman is former IAEA Director General Mr. Hans Blix, who also heads the WNA Council of Advisors.

Chairman PAEC is also now on the Council of Advisors of this prestigious International Association.
