PAEC-IAEA Workshop on 'Communication with Media and Public'

Islamabad, January 07: Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are holding a one-week national workshop from 10-14 January, 2005 on enhancing capability of nuclear energy producers and regulatory body to communicate with the public and media.

The purpose of strengthening this interaction with media and public is to communicate facts about nuclear power which is safe, cost-competitive, reliable and environment friendly source of energy needed for sustainable economic development.

The workshop will be participated by IAEA experts and representatives from PAEC, PNRA and relevant departments.

The moot will be inaugurated by Mr. Parvez Butt, Chairman, PAEC on January 10, 2005.
