Computer Networking & Central Database System

LINAR is the pioneer of Computer Networking in PAEC centers and also the pioneer of computerized central database of the patient’s registration. This Network is server based and 12 clients registered and has the expansion of facility. This software is developed in visual basic. This dedicated software is for entering patient’s particulars, history, examination and all the investigations. This software is server based, data is stored directly on the server and retrieved from the server as required. In this software every department / section of LINAR is designed separately and they have separate login on their computers to reduce the extra intervention by others and this makes the program and data more secure. There are separate execution programs for clients. It gives flexibility of patient follow–up, search of data in required format which is very useful for research and professional audit. This software is very easy to use by the staff of LINAR.
