2. Teaching, Training and Collaboration

Departmental lectures on weekly bases, participated by Doctors and Scientists from INOR.
Weekly lectures in collaboration with Ayub Medical Complex (gynecological unit).
A fellow medical physics from PIEAS has been trained in the relevant field.
Two PIEAS Medical Physics fellows are under training in relevant field.
Dr. Shakil Ahmad (Head NMD), Mr. Qaisar Abbas Rizvi (Jr. Eng.) and Mr. Habib-ul-Haq (Tech-I) attended two week training on Dual Head Gamma Camera at Hungary.
Dr. Kamran (M.O) and Mr. Irfan (SA-II) attended one week training in Dual head Gamma Camera in CENUM and PIC in May 2008.
8. Mr. Misbah Ahmed, J.S attended two days training on Nuclear Safety organized by DOS and held in ICCC , Islamabad

Dr. Amjad Aziz Khan, Dr N. Z. Abbasi, Dr. Shakil Ahmad, Mr. Wazir Muhammad, Dr. Furqan Ali, Dr. Zahid Rehaman Khan and Dr. Khalid attended the 9th International Radiological Conference at Peshawar on December 8, 2007.
Dr. N. Z. Abbasi presented a paper in the 9th International Radiological Conference at Peshawar titled “Role of Neo- adjuvant hormonal therapy in the management of Ca-Breast”
Dr. Furqan Ali presented a paper in the 9th International Radiological Conference at Peshawar titled “Localization of cerebral blood flow changes in the patient of dissociative amnesia Anad dissociative motor disorders employing 99mTc-HMTAO brain scan”
Dr.Furqan Ali attended 6th Annual Meeting on Asian Regional Cooperation Committee on Nuclear Medicine in Mongolia.
Dr. Asif Jeilani, SMO attended the National Course on Nuclear Medicine at MINAR, Multan from 13th to 17th March 2008.
Miss Kaneez Batool, Staff Nurse attended training course on Mammography Acquisition Techniques at MINAR, Multan on 3rd and 4th March, 2008.
