   1. Introductory lecture to consultants of attached Ayub Teaching Hospital Complex (ATHC), Abbottabad on Topic “INOR where are we now” by Director INOR on March 19, 2004.
       

   2. Two papers were presented in 2nd PAEC International Oncology Conference in April held in INMOL Lahore by two officers from Department of Oncology & Radiotherapy INOR.

   1. 3 Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT) in organ confined carcinoma prostate gland; an experience at KIRAN, Karachi.

   2. Adenocarcinoma prostate gland, treated with external beam radiotherapy; A PSA based analysis. (Dr. Saif -Ur- Rehman, FCPS)

2. Events Teaching, Training and Collaboration

Teaching to medical students of Ayub Medical College (AMC) and Trainee Medical Officers (TMO,s) of attached Ayub Teaching Hospital Complex (ATHC), Abbottabad. Actively collaborated with Ayub Teaching Hospital Complex (ATHC), Abbottabad, attended cancer OPD and admitted patient for chemotherapy and daily ward round on regular basis.

3. Participation in Conferences / Seminars

• Actively participated and presented a research paper on “Radio I131 treatment of thyroid cancer (Diff. Type)” in international Nuclear Medicine Conference on 3rd and 4th April 2002 Lahore.

• Participated in Distance Assitance Training (DAT) workshop in Collaboration with IAEA / PAEC at INMOL Lahore on March 2002.

• Participated and talked on “Cancer is a treatable disease” one day seminar organized by pharmadic at PC Hotel Rawalpindi on June 2002.

• Introductory lecture: Introductory lecture to consultants of attached Ayub Teaching Hospital Complex (ATHC), Abbottabad on topic “INOR where are we now?” by Director INOR on March 19, 2004.

• INOR Inauguration: INOR cancer hospital was inaugurated on May 17, 2004 by Governor NWFP, Sayed Iftikhar Hussain Shah.

• Levy charges: After successful inauguration levy charges are introduced and reasonable amount is charged from affordable patients.
