Institute of Nuclear Medicine Oncology & Radiotherapy (INOR), Abbottabad
is the 13th of the chain of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Cancer
Institutes and second in whole N-W.F.P. It is located within the
premises of Ayub Medical College and Teaching Hospital in the scenic
valley of Abbottabad. It spreads over 3 Acre area along historical
ancient Silk Route (KKH).
The institute was originally planned in 1973 but became reality after
about 30 years in 2003. This state-of-art and one of the most modernized
PAEC cancer care facility was formally inaugurated in May 2004 by
Honorable Governor N-W.F.P
