The multidisciplinary development program of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) is spread over from installation of nuclear power production plants, nuclear fuel processing, design & engineering, nuclear technologies, physical sciences to biosciences. The Directorate of Projects Coordination (DPC) is working as a facilitator and focal point for all development projects in different fields. The Directorate is responsible for preparation of PC-Is, PCC-Is & PC-II, approval of PC-Is from Planning Division, coordinating the Pre-CDWP, CDWP & ECNEC meetings, implementation of approved projects, submitting online PC-III every month, monitoring and evaluation of projects from time to time & during implementation coordinating projects progress with Budget, DTP & WASO and submitting completion report (PC-IV). PAEC is one of the 10 Ministries on the web of Planning Commission and DPC is working as PAEC–PSDP focal point for PAEC projects & thus responsible to keep them update on monthly basis. In FY 2011-12 PAEC has carried out about 25 PSDP development & research projects. The sector wise details of these projects are as following:

This sector is contributing very effectively to almost every PAEC-PSDP project through their works & services department (WASO) which is involved in construction of PAEC projects throughout the country. Beside that this sector is providing basic quality information such as soil and mechanical testing to all PAEC projects.
