Training Facilities
Introduction:
CHASNUPP
Center of Nuclear Training (CHASCENT) was established in 1996 and has
been preparing trained manpower for CHASNUPP-1 as well as for other
power sector projects of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC).
More than 120 Engineers/ Scientists and 425 Technicians have been
trained in Nuclear Power Plant Technology so far.
Main
Academic Programs:
Currently
2 main Programs are offered annually:
1.
One Year Post Graduate Training Program (for Engineers & Scientists)
2.
One Year Post Diploma Training Program (for 3 year diploma holders)
Selection
Procedure:
Applications
are invited through advertisements in national newspapers. Written
Tests and Interviews are held at centers in Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore
and Karachi. Selection is strictly based on merit.
