  • The centre is playing a very important role of Post graduate Medical teaching.

    As a part of postgraduate training, AEMC, receive students of M.S. Nuclear Medicine from PlEAS, Islamabad, for their clinical attachments and research works.
     

  • The post graduate teaching programme for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in the field of radiology is going on. The students from Civil Hospital Karachi get on the job training in Radiology.
     

  • Students from different hospitals i.e. JPMC, Civil Hospital, PNS Shifa and Lyari General Hospital complete their training at AEMC, Karachi to fulfill the requirements for FCPS part-II and MCPS examinations.
     

  • Residents from the department of Gynecology and Urology from Dow medical college and Civil Hospital, Karachi visit AEMC for orientation of Nuclear Medicine.
     

  • Practical know-how is also provided to these students and nursing staff of JPMC, regarding the peaceful use of Atomic Energy at this centre. The scientists and medical doctors also arrange lectures to create awareness against cancer and its allied diseases.

  • Regular lectures and presentations are organized in collaboration with various institutes and organizations for general public awareness and prevention of Cancer.
